SolvedKit (solvedkit.com) is owned and operated by Slice of Time LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit the site.
What we collect
SolvedKit is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, sign-ups, comment forms or newsletter forms, and we don't ask you for personal information.
The site doesn't set its own cookies, and it doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Our calculators on the Tools pages and inside guides run entirely in your browser. What you type into them isn't sent to us or anyone else, and it isn't stored; it's gone when you leave the page.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Cloudflare handles this data under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Amazon links, images and cookies
As a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, we link to Amazon.com. Our links carry an Associates tracking ID so Amazon can tell that a visit or purchase came from SolvedKit.
- When you click an Amazon link, you leave our site. Amazon may then set cookies in your browser on its own site to attribute qualifying purchases to us. We don't set or read those cookies.
- Product images, where shown, load directly from Amazon's servers, and our pages may connect ahead of time to Amazon's image server so images load faster. This means Amazon may receive standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you view a page.
Amazon tells us only aggregate information, such as the number of clicks and orders and the products ordered. It doesn't tell us who you are. What Amazon collects is governed by the Amazon.com Privacy Notice.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to read and reply to you, and we keep it only as long as needed for that.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
Children
The site is meant for adults shopping for home gear. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we add anything that changes what's described here, such as analytics or another affiliate program's tracking, we'll update this policy and its effective date before it goes live.
